About the Role

We are looking for an exceptionally sharp Sr. Lead Full Stack Engineer who thrives in high-velocity, high-ambiguity environments. This person should come from a growth-stage startup background where they wore multiple hats, shipped fast, and took deep ownership of outcomes.

You will be an individual contributor doing development, architecture, and code quality across our web platforms built on Next.js, React.js, and Node.js. We need someone who is self-motivated, intellectually curious, and raises the bar for everyone around them. You should be the kind of engineer who is never blocked, always finds a way forward, and treats code reviews as a tool for raising team-wide engineering standards.

This is not a role for someone who simply executes tickets. We need a builder who thinks in systems, cares about craft, and can drive end-to-end delivery with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of frontend and backend developers, setting a high engineering bar.

Architect, design, and develop high-performance, scalable web applications from scratch.

Own and drive development using Next.js, React.js, and Node.js with full technical ownership.

Build reusable, composable UI components, SSR/SSG solutions, and robust API integrations.

Design backend services, REST APIs, microservices, and third-party integrations.

Conduct rigorous code reviews: enforce coding standards, catch architectural issues early, and mentor developers through review feedback.

Optimize applications aggressively for speed, SEO, and performance (Lighthouse 90+).

Work closely with product and design teams to translate business requirements into technical plans.

Manage deployments, CI/CD pipelines, debugging, and performance tuning.

Ensure security standards, error handling, and monitoring practices are in place.

Take complete ownership of end-to-end delivery, from planning through production.

Must-Have Skills

Frontend

Next.js (Mandatory, deep expertise required)

React.js, React Hooks, and Context API (strong proficiency)

SSR, SSG, ISR, and routing in Next.js

Component architecture and performance optimization

Git, GitHub/GitLab with strong branching and PR discipline

Docker and containerization (mandatory)

CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar)

Deployment on AWS / DigitalOcean using Docker-based workflows

Logging and monitoring (CloudWatch / PM2 / Grafana)

Code Reviews and Engineering Standards

Proven track record of conducting thorough, constructive code reviews that improve code quality and mentor junior developers.

Ability to enforce consistent patterns, naming conventions, and architectural guidelines across the codebase.

Experience setting up linting rules, PR templates, and review checklists for teams.

Visual canvas/workflow builders (drag-and-drop node-based UIs, similar to Figma, Retool, or n8n).

Complex, interactive UI with real-time state management (node configuration panels, live status indicators, canvas interactions).

Building polished, production-grade UI/UX for enterprise SaaS products.

WebSocket or real-time data flows in frontend applications.

Working with design systems and building component libraries at scale.
